Your Reiki healing session
Would you like to experience the balancing energy of Reiki?
This guide outlines what you can expect at each step of your journey, from preparing for your session to integrating its benefits afterwards. I encourage you to read through this information and note any questions you may have before we connect for your initial consultation.
-
Begin your healing journey with a complimentary 20-minute consultation call to discuss your specific needs. I will send a brief form in advance to gather helpful information before our conversation. This call is an opportunity for us to connect, for me to learn more about you and your intentions, and to ensure your session is thoughtfully designed to provide a comfortable experience for you.
-
To prepare for your Reiki session, I recommend wearing comfortable clothing and ensuring you are well-hydrated. It's also best to avoid alcohol, stimulating drinks, and heavy meals beforehand. My aim is for you to feel completely relaxed, safe, and comfortable so you can fully immerse yourself in the healing experience.
-
When you arrive for your Reiki session, I will greet you and invite you into the calming space. We'll take a moment to briefly revisit our initial conversation and I'll check in on how you're feeling in the present moment. Please know that whatever you are experiencing is welcome. My priority is to ensure you feel safe, grounded, and held in the space before we begin your healing session.

During your Reiki session, you can expect a comfortable and non-invasive experience where you remain fully clothed. The treatment involves gentle hand placements either lightly on or just above your body in a respectful and appropriate manner.
Utilising various Reiki techniques and my intuitive energetic awareness, I will sense areas of imbalance and focus on where you need the most support. To further enhance your healing journey, and depending on your preferences, I may incorporate the subtle use of essential oils, crystals, or calming music.
It's important to know that Reiki is an energy-based practice, not massage, so no massage oils are used on the skin.

Following your Reiki session, it's beneficial to continue supporting your well-being. Be sure to drink plenty of water to help your body integrate the energy work. Allow yourself some time to rest and relax, and be gentle with any emotions that may arise. It's also wise to avoid stimulants like caffeine and alcohol for a while.
To help you remain grounded, consider a walk in nature, a swim, or some time spent gardening. Engaging in your hobbies and creative projects can be a lovely way to integrate the session's energy.
Pay attention to how you feel, listen to your body and trust the process as the effects of Reiki continue to unfold. You might also find it helpful to journal any thoughts, feelings, or insights that came up both during and after your session.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions or need further support with anything that arises after your Reiki treatment.
